About me

Olivia is an award-winning journalist, author, and broadcaster based in London.

As a journalist, she specialises in violence against women, pop culture, relationships, mental health, sexual health, travel, fashion, and beauty. Her writing has been published in The Sunday Times, British Vogue, British GQ, Grazia, Stylist, Refinery29, The Independent, The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail, The Sun, and The Huffington Post.

Olivia’s work regularly leads to appearances on TV and radio, with credits including BBC World News, BBC Three, Good Morning Britain, ITV News, Woman’s Hour, Broadcasting House, and The PM Show.

She has hosted The Independent’s chart-topping Millennial Love podcast since 2017. Previous guests on the show include Emily Ratajkowski, Munroe Bergdorf, Elizabeth Day, Raven Smith, Lisa Taddeo, Dolly Alderton, and Will Young. In 2023, Olivia relaunched the podcast under the name Love Lives. Guests have included Hayley Atwell, Megan Nolan and Tom Grennan.

Olivia’s first book, Millennial Love, was published by 4th Estate in July 2021. Described as “honest and funny” by Pandora Sykes, the book is based on Olivia’s podcast of the same name and blends social commentary with memoir and interviews. Her debut novel, Gold Rush, will be published by 4th Estate in July 2024.

Olivia regularly creates content for leading brands, including BBC Three, Rixo, and Benefit, and is an experienced panel host, having worked with Netflix, Sky, ITV, Hay Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival, and Women of the World.

In 2021, she was shortlisted in the BSME Talent Awards as “Best Digital Writer”. That same year, Millennial Love was shortlisted for the second year running in the British Podcast Awards under “Best Sex and Relationships Podcast”. Olivia was also shortlisted in the BSME Talent Awards in 2022 as “Best Lifestyle Writer”. In 2023, she was included in Forbes’ annual 30 under 30 list in the media and marketing category.

Aside from all of that, Olivia enjoys running, cats, and writing about herself in the third person.
